Wasil Terms of Use

Agreement
Wasil is a messaging and calling app operated by IBS Digital (Private) Limited (“we”, “us”), Islamabad, Pakistan. By creating an account or using Wasil, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Wasil. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
Who can use Wasil
You must be at least 16 years old. You must give accurate sign-up information, use only your own phone number or email, and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
If you use Wasil through an organization’s workspace, that organization’s rules also apply to you, and its administrators can manage your account and restrict features.
Community guidelines
Wasil is for respectful communication. You must not use it to share or do any of the following:
Content that sexually exploits or endangers children (see Child safety).
Harassment, bullying, threats or intimidation.
Hate speech, or content that attacks people based on religion, ethnicity, nationality, gender, disability or similar characteristics.
Content that promotes or incites violence, terrorism or violent extremism.
Sexually explicit content sent to people who have not agreed to receive it, or intimate images of anyone shared without their consent.
Spam, scams, fraud, phishing or unauthorized advertising.
Impersonating another person or organization.
Sharing someone’s private information without their consent.
Illegal goods, services or activities.
Content that infringes someone else’s intellectual property.
Malware, hacking, scraping, automated or fake accounts, or anything that disrupts Wasil or other users.
This applies to messages, media, profiles, group names and calls.
Child safety
We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. Sharing, requesting or linking to child sexual abuse material, or grooming or sexually exploiting a minor in any way, is strictly prohibited. When we become aware of such content, we remove it, permanently ban the accounts involved and report it to the relevant authorities as required by law. To report a concern, use the in-app report option or email support@wasilchat.com.
Reporting, blocking and enforcement
You can report any message or user and block anyone directly in the app. We review reports and may look at the reported content, as described in our Privacy Policy.
If you break these Terms, we may remove content, issue a warning, restrict features, or suspend or permanently close your account, depending on how serious the violation is. We may also report illegal activity to the authorities. If you think we made a mistake, email support@wasilchat.com and we will review the decision.
Your content
You own what you share on Wasil. You give us a limited permission to store, transmit and process it only to operate and secure the service. You are responsible for what you share and must have the right to share it. We do not review all content before it is sent, but we act on reports and on content we become aware of.
Calls and recording
Calls in organization workspaces may be recorded if the organization enables it, and all participants see an indicator while recording is on. Do not record or share other people’s calls or messages by any other means without their consent where the law requires it.
Wasil cannot be used to call emergency services. Use your phone’s regular calling service in an emergency.
Our service
Wasil, its name, logo and software belong to IBS Digital. You may use the app only as these Terms allow, and you may not copy, modify or reverse-engineer it. Wasil is currently free; we will tell you before introducing any paid features. We may change or discontinue features, and we cannot guarantee the service will always be available or error-free.
Ending your use
You can stop using Wasil and delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other users. These Terms continue to apply to anything that happened before your account was closed.
Disclaimers and liability
Wasil is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for content shared by other users, or for interruptions or data loss beyond our reasonable control. You agree to compensate us for claims arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of Wasil. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be waived.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Islamabad.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify you in the app before material changes take effect. If you keep using Wasil after that, you accept the updated Terms.
